The candidate should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Electrical Design: Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for new products or modifications to existing products.

  2. Hardware Development: Select components, design schematics, and create printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using CAD software such as Altium Designer or Eagle.

  3. Testing and Validation: Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.

  4. Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM), and test procedures.

  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and product managers, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your projects and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools, including CAD software for circuit design and simulation (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, SPICE).
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) considerations.
  • Experience with hardware prototyping and testing techniques, including soldering, oscilloscope measurements, and signal analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for electrical systems (e.g., UL, FCC, CE).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or specialized coursework in a relevant field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification.
  • Experience with embedded systems development, firmware programming, or microcontroller-based designs.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and protocols (e.g., IEC 60601 for medical devices, CAN bus for automotive applications).
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (e.g., VHDL, Verilog) and FPGA development tools.
